Lina Ramey, President and owner of Lina T. Ramey & Associates, Inc. (LTRA), is a true Roadrunner and loyal to the university that provided her with a solid education and degree. Lina graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) in 1986. Upon entering the workforce and getting out in the field, she realized she had received the best degree possible. Due to her education and spirit of determination and persistence, she has soared in her career spending 10 years at the Texas Department of Transportation and then opening LTRA over 18 years ago.
Lina remains active with the University’s Alumni Association and continues to give back to the community and school that helped her become a part of who she is today. LTRA continues to use UTSA as a recruiting tool and has even hired a few of their students. Lina is proud to see the UTSA Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is still producing talented engineers and plans to continue recruitment efforts at the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Career Fair in the fall.
