LTRA was recently provided the opportunity to collect mobile LiDAR data of the Trinity River railroad trestle bridge, which is part of a restoration project with the Trinity Railway Express. We captured mobile LiDAR data from a high rail vehicle to produce topographic features on the existing trestle bridge and its super structure. Adjacent topographic features will also be extracted from the LiDAR cloud data to show a complete 3D model of the existing bridge and the surrounding area of the Trinity River bottom.
